Two Locations, One Friendly Team

Our main showroom in Wittering, Cambridgeshire offers a wide range of new and pre-owned shotguns, rifles, air rifles, stalking clothing, game shooting attire, optics, and accessories. It’s a relaxed environment where you can browse, ask questions and get advice tailored to your needs.

We also run a second shop at Orston Shooting Ground, providing shooters with easy access to guns, game cartridges, ammunition, shooting essentials and friendly support right on the ground itself.

Knowledgeable, Honest & Here to Help

At Simpson Brothers, we pride ourselves on honesty, fairness, and genuine customer care. We never pressure our customers or push unnecessary products—our focus is helping you find the right shotgun, rifle, airgun, optics, or shooting accessories that fit your experience, style, and budget.

Whether you're looking to purchase your first gun, upgrade your optics, refresh your shooting wardrobe or simply want some expert advice, you’re always welcome at Simpson Brothers.

We have access to a private clay shooting ground and, with prior arrangement, any second-hand shotguns can be tried under the expert eye of the trained shooting instructors. Gun fit is hugely important and we can make sure you leave with a gun that will shoot where you are looking.

Rifles that we supply can be built up and zeroed ensuring that everything is working correctly before you take it home. From day scopes to night vision – we know our way around the latest technology and are always on hand to offer advice to those who need it.

MEET THE TEAM

Marcus Simpson

Marcus has a lifelong passion for the gun trade and has been working within the sector for over 20 years. Despite being the owner of a successful business, you are more likely to find Marcus talking enthusiastically to customers about shotguns and rifles, optics, or the future of the gun trade. Over the years, he has also worked to help country estates with bespoke deer management plans, and loves organising recreational stalking for customers.

He is also handy with a shotgun and is never happier than when he is out in the countryside, either loading, instructing, or shooting. Although he loves pheasants, some of his favourite days have been in a hide, shooting pigeons or crows. He holds his Deer Stalking Certificates Levels 1 & 2, as well as being an APSI qualified shooting instructor and gun fitter.

Holly

Holly joined Simpson Brothers Gun Shop in May 2020 and has quickly become an invaluable member of the team. She brings excellent knowledge and hands-on expertise across a wide range of products, including shotguns, rifles, optics, and thermal imaging equipment, providing honest, practical advice to every customer.

Outside the shop, Holly is an accomplished shooter, enjoying clay shooting, stalking, and PRS rimfire shooting. In 2025, she achieved third place in the Ladies’ category at the PRS Rimfire World Championships. She holds her DSC1 and is an APSI-qualified shooting instructor and gun fitter.

Harry

Harry joined Simpson Brothers Gun Shop in 2023. Coming from a dedicated gamekeeping family, he brings genuine, hands-on insight into the life of a keeper and a clear understanding of the tools and equipment that work best in the field.

Renowned for his exceptional knowledge of shotguns, Harry stands out as one of the shop’s leading experts. Whether advising on models, fit, or performance, he helps customers make confident and informed choices.

Harry is also a talented clay shooter, having represented England’s Junior Team four times. His competitive background gives him a strong practical understanding of quality and precision—experience he draws on every day at the shop.

In addition to his shooting achievements, Harry is a keen deer stalker, further broadening his fieldcraft skills and deepening his knowledge of sporting firearms and countryside management.

With his blend of experience, passion, and expertise, Harry is a trusted point of contact for anyone seeking reliable shooting advice.

Andy

Andy has decades of experience and is our go-to guy for any information relating to deer, ballistics and reloading, however, don’t ask him anything about shotguns. He shot his first deer when he was 17 years old and is a keen and passionate member of the deer stalking community.

He has been working with the Simpson Brothers for over 10 years and heads up our rifle and stalking related training, as well as supporting in rifle repairs. Andy is a qualified DMQ assessor, holds his own DSC levels 1 and 2 and advanced stalkers certificate.

He is an Anschutz trained rifle and airgun repairer and has attended various courses, including the Swarovski long-range course in Italy.

Andy has been managing a deer park for the last 20 years and has organised multiple stalking and management syndicates.

Dan

Daniel joined Simpson Brothers Gun Shop in June 2025 after several years with distributor Highland Outdoors, where he developed a strong foundation in sales, business development, product knowledge and customer support.

Outside of work Daniel enjoys clay shooting, PRS rifle shooting and stalking whenever the opportunity arises, and he also holds his DSC1 certificate.

He has initially been tasked with modernising our office processes and streamlining the substantial paperwork we handle daily, while also learning our extensive product range in preparation for joining the team on the shop floor.

With his energy, experience and drive to enhance the customer journey, Daniel strengthens the Simpson Brothers team in all the right ways.
